Barcham Trees are Europes largest container tree nursery

Range & Variety

Barcham Trees, container tree specialists since 1980

There are now over 350 varieties of tree currently available in the Barcham range which certainly is the largest range of high quality trees in containers available in Europe all grown to the exacting standards customers have come to expect.

Barcham are constantly searching for new species and varieties to add to that list in order to present the customer with the widest possible choice and the greatest opportunity to realise the effect desired from planting trees.

During the past few seasons many interesting and unusual trees have been added to the range. These include Lagestromea indica Rosea which is a beautiful small tree with a somewhat flat topped habit. The bark is mottled grey and pink while the deep green leaves turn a vivid red in the autumn, Feijoa sellowiana which has evergreen grey green leaves and large berries sometimes produced in hot summers from flowers that have crimson and white petals and Chitalpa taschkentensis Summer Bells which is a recent hybrid between Chilopsis and Catalpa. It makes a stunning specimen tree whether in a park or garden with spectacular frilly pink flowers with yellow throats in the summer. A full list of species and varieties available can be found in the stock list.
