Although originally from moist and even swampy areas, the Honey Locust does well in much drier and free draining soils.
This medium to large cultivar has the advantage of being thorn less.
It has a rounded, rather spreading form and its yellow foliage, which appears late, is retained for most of the summer.
We recommend it as a very good substitute for the more brittle Robinia pseudoacacia Frisia, and find it tolerates dry soils well.
Mature height: 15-20m
