What is a multistemmed tree?

This is an arborist term used to describe a tree that has more of a "bush" form and many branches coming from the bottom.

Often they are referred to as having "3-5 breaks" and this means that they have 3-5 stems.

This form of tree is good for screening.

If you cannot find the tree you are looking for as a multistem, please contact the Barcham Trees Team for further information.
