LCVS celebrate centenary
Liverpool Charity and Voluntary Services celebrated their centenary by donating 100 trees to the City in November 2009.
A tree planting ceremony took place on the 5th November with a 5 metre Barcham Pine being planted by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
Barcham's Managing Director, Mike Glover, attended the event and the following reception where the charity was awarded the freedom of the City of Liverpool. Barcham supplied all 100 trees for the scheme.
"It was a lovely day and everyone was delighted and very complimentary about the quality of the tree that Barcham has supplied"
Mike commented.
