How to buy Large trees from Barcham

The nursery covers 272 acres just outside of Ely, Cambridgeshire and stocks to sell over 150,000 large container trees ranging in size from 3 metres to 10 metres in height. Our trees have all been grown in our unique Light Pot™ that prevents root spiralling and ensures rapid and successful establishment after planting.

Over the past 25 years the nursery has concentrated its efforts into the wholesale market supplying Local Authorities, Golf Courses, Landscape Architects & Designers, Landscape Contractors as well as other Nurseries but in recent years there has been a demand for large trees into domestic gardens.

This website has been recently updated with this in mind. It is now a tool to not only supply information regarding Barcham and trees to our trade customers but is also able to service individual customers who wish to order direct from Barcham to create instant impact using trees in their gardens.

So, how do you go about buying trees on this website?

Initially, the website is structured to help you to select the trees that are right for you, with a number of information pages dedicated to help you make educated decisions regarding which trees you would like to purchase. 

From the homepage, you can select trees using the common name and or botanical name (if you know it), or you can select tree according to their features, i.e Bark, flowers, autumn colour etc.  For more information on how to view trees using these homepage tools, please see the Screencast entitled “Navigating the Barcham Website Homepage Part 2”.

Once you have decided on a tree that you would like to buy, click on the “Private individuals button”or on the retail button on the right hand side of the tree information. This will take you to the product page for the tree that you have selected. 

The product page will show you the sizes available and the prices of each respective size. You will notice that there are two prices. The lower price will be applied once you have 10 trees in your basket, as it is a discount to be applied when 10 or more trees are purchased. Select the size of tree you require from the drop down box and hit the button to add to basket. 

This will pop the chosen tree into your basket which allows you to continue to navigate the site and choose other trees. Once you have finished selecting, you can view your shopping cart by clicking on the button in the right hand corner, underneath the Royal Warrant. 

This will take you to your shopping basket, from which you can proceed to “Checkout” in order to finish your order by entering your details and providing payment.

If you wish to view delivery charges, you can do this at anytime by clicking on the link in the bottom left of each page and selecting “View online delivery charges”, or you can look at them from the delivery tab in any product page. The delivery charge will be applied during the checkout process.

Before you proceed to checkout, please select the appropriate number of planting kits, one is recommended for each tree.
