What is the difference between an Evergreen and Deciduous tree?
Evergreen Trees hold their leaves all year round and thus do not have leaf fall in the autumn time. They do still lose leaves at certain points of year and therefore you should not be too concerned if old falling leaves are coming off your plant so long as they are being proceeded by fresh leaves.
Deciduous trees lose their leaves from September onwards, with some trees this is accompanied by stunning autumn colours. This happens at differing points thorughout the autumn, depending upon the species of tree and weather at the point that this occurs.
The trees throughout this site are classified according to weather they are Deciduous or Evergreen and if you are unsure, please contact a member of the Barcham Trees Team.
