Barcham goes big on Trees!

Barcham now supplies trees up to 40-45cm girth.

Barcham is well known throughout the Arboriculture industry for producing quality container grown trees.

Initially, Barcham Trees were limited to small specimens in 45L and 85L containers, however over the years the production method and the tree nursery at Barcham have been developed in order to produce much larger trees.  This resulted in a wider range of 20-25cm girthed trees, however as demand increased for instant impact from tree planting this range has been developed and as such Barcham are now able to offer containers of up to 3000L and trees of 40-45cm girth.

There is a common misconception that larger trees are less likely to readily establish than smaller ones and to some extent this is true for Root balled and certainly Bare rooted tree supply however this does not apply to trees produced in the Barcham Light Pot™. The Barcham Light Pot™ produces trees with an intact, fibrous root system that is large enough to support the tree, however large it is. Larger trees are potted into containers large enough to contain the root ball and thus following a season on the nursery the tree then has a root system that is sizeable enough to support the tree and ensure that it will readily establish once planted.

So, in a nut shell, Barcham can supply super big trees that are healthy, have an undisturbed root system and are ready to make a huge impact on your project!
