New to Barcham in 2011, this superb tight headed clone is ideal for a tidy street tree in an urban environment.
Many clonal selections are produced by growers but most are too similar to existing varieties to be worthy of special interest. This selection stands out as one to watch as it ticks many boxes for city planting.
Selections of our native Acer campestre are a marvellous compromise to planting indigenous trees within our urban settings as they are tough and relatively low maintenance.
Good for wildlife, the leaves turn a glorious yellow in the autumn and it thrives on most soils.
Mature height: 10-15m
