5 Reasons to buy mature trees for instant impact

Why wait years for a landscaping project to establish, when you can buy mature trees online and plant them to achieve instant impact!

Historically transplanting trees has been difficult, limited to the winter dormant period and full of inherent risk of post planting failure. In recent years tree production and supply methods have evolved to reduce the risks involved with tree planting in general and particularly reduce the risk of planting larger and mature trees. This has allowed planting schemes to include larger and larger trees and certainly in today’s impatient society this produces the immediate results that are expected from any scheme, from building to landscaping.

There are many methods of tree production and supply, but at Barcham Trees we have concentrated on developing the white container tree production method, evolving this concept over the past 20 years to form our unique Light Pot™ which is patented to Barcham. The Barcham Light Pot™ enables us to produce trees with a fully established, fibrous root system. This fibrous root system is capable of supporting a tree immediately following planting and is developed so that it is appropriate to the size of the tree, i.e the larger the tree, the larger the root system (container) it is developed and supplied in.  Success rate is therefore not a limiting factor in whether or not you can plant mature trees or not.

So, now you appreciate that is possible to achieve success in planting mature trees, here are a few reasons why bigger is better!

An Instant sized Betula pendula scaled with a man

  1. You will immediately be satisfied with the results of your planting scheme; the impact will be instant.
  2. Mature trees give the illusion of age to a planting scheme, making it seem more established from the offset.
  3. Mature trees are capable of immediately providing effective shade and screening in a garden area.
  4. You will get the full benefit of the trees features and attributes immediately following planting when mature trees in a planting scheme.
  5. The presence of trees in gardens, especially mature trees enhances a property, adding value to prospective buyers.

An established look and feel to a landscape is achievable and will give you instant and impressive results. There is no need to be disappointed with planting small trees that will take many years to impress, at Barcham we can provide you with a wide range of mature tree species in Medium – Instant sizes.
